COMMENTS: We imported Patouche from D. Hayes (pictured with Patouche below)
who had been trialing him in Ireland. Patouche was bred in England, both of his parents -
Ivry de Keranlouan, who won Best of Breed at Crufts 1997 and a BOB in 1998 and Gallo de
Saint Thurial, winning Best in Show in 1995 and RBIS in 1994, were imported from France.
Patouche has beautiful conformation and an impressive lineage. But most
important is that he has a great nose and gets the job done in the field
like an absolute pro - steady to wing & shot, retrieves to hand, loves
the water and fills the bird bags with limits of wild pheasants on a
daily basis.
