Indy, Merci's sire, is imported from France. His pedigree is filled with impressive champions in France, including both of his sire and his mother Unic, his grandmother Java, rated as an Elite Female in France, who has both her spring and fall championships and the coveted mountain championship. Her mother, Evee is out of imported dogs as well, which includes Tatoo, Oseille and Titus. These lines go back to Ska, Go and R'Vampire to name just a few of the famous French dogs.

Evee's grandfather, Tatoo,attained his Trialer title in France as well as having attained France's status as a "RECOMMENDED STUD", a status that only a few studs in France have achieved and he is the only stud in America with this status. Tatoo was the first American dog ever to compete in the Euro Cup as well as to win.
